The world has been slowly evolving for for some 13.7 billion years, the rough estimated age of the universe (Eric W. Nelson, Robert W. Strayer). We are new; literally. It was interesting to read that for 3 billion years, life remained at the level of microscopic; or at a single-cell organism. This makes you wonder about all the diseases that are slowly migrating back into the world, the silent killers, the unknown micro-organisms still undiscovered. Will we ever find cures for certain diseases? It brings it all back to the three C's- Change, Comparison, Connections, all these things combined make up who we are today. We are all connected in some way or another. The history of the world has had many tremendous changes since its formation. Man has been seeking comparison from other men since the beginning of time. The connections are many, some good and bad, but in order to grow as human beings, man needed to evolve and it surely did. The possibilities of humankind growth are endless because of our abilities with technology, and our connection with others comparisons on a daily basis- the growth possibilities are ever changing and exciting.
