"By far the most important gift that China received from India was neither cotton nor sugar, but a religion, Buddhism" (Strayer Pg. 349). It had a tremendous effect on the people of China, this was very interesting to learn. "Buddhism was the ONLY -large scale cultural borrowing in Chinese history" (Strayer, Pg. 349). From their it just spread like wildfire, it went all over the East Asia lands via trade routes during the 1st and second centuries C.E.
This by far was the most interesting information in these chapters.
